How to Use Chapel Projector and Laptop

  1. Make sure the projector screen is down. If it is not, or you want to double check, go behind to the video room to the right of the stage.
    1. There is a switch directly to the right of the entrance labeled “Movie Theater Screen”.
    2. Switch this to the down position. The screen should come down fully in a few minutes.
       
  2. Power on the projector with the white remote next to the laptop. The power button is the top left blue button.
    1. This should show the laptop screen, if not follow step 3.
       
  3. On the laptop in the bottom left hand corner, click on the windows icon, then the cogwheel or gear icon.
    1. Select “System”, then scroll down to the “Multiple displays” drop down.
    2. Make sure this drop down is set to “Duplicate Desktop on 1 and 2”.
       
  4. If no audio is working, click on the speaker icon in the bottom right and make sure the volume isn’t muted.
    1. If volume is not muted, and there is still no sound, click on the arrow above the number to the right of the speaker pop out, and select “Speakers”.
